Anastasia Matte Lipstick Review

Anastasia recently added 30 matte lipsticks to their line. They conquered the liquid lipstick game first, now they are moving back to take over a more traditional tube. If you'd like to see the lipstick in use I'm wearing it in my Anastasia Subculture Palette Review video. 

The Anastasia Matte Lipsticks retail for $18 USD on their website, not sure if they will be launching at Sephora or in Canada just yet.  The packaging, as to be expected is gorgeous, they feel incredibly high end, without a high end price tag. Not too high end of a price tag anyways. 

As mentioned, there's 30 shades and I think there is something for everyone. Tons of neutrals, pinks and nudes along with some super bold greys, greens and blues. Oddly, the line seems to be lacking reds and berries, I assume they will continue to expand. We also have PLENTY of those shades in other lines so I'm glad to see variety here. 

I picked up the Anastasia Matte Lipstick in Staunch a "sandy peach". I was so unsure about what to get, with the exchange rate and Subculture palette in my cart I held back and only purchased one. 

So far I am super impressed with this lipstick. Comfortable creamy, but matte texture, no real scent. The wear time seems good too, in between filming this video I took a slice of pizza break and it held up nicely. 

I totally recommend picking up a shade if you see something of interest. I hope these come to Canada and I hope the exchange rate doesn't jack up the price too much!
