Maybelline Dream Urban Cover Foundation Swatches and Comparisons

Maybelline Dream Urban Cover Foundation 310 and 330
The newest foundation from Maybelline is the Maybelline Dream Urban Cover Foundation, I'm always so excited to try new drugstore foundations and historically I've really liked most of Maybelline's launches. See the full review and wear test of this foundation on my YouTube channel
Maybelline Dream Urban Cover Foundation Swatches

The Maybelline Dream Urban Cover Foundation retails for about $12USD/$15CAD. You get a full fluid ounce in the simple squeeze packaging which I like! The unfortunate thing about this foundation is it only comes in 16 shades. If it didn't claim to have flawless full coverage it may not be as much of an issue but the fuller the coverage the more shades are needed, in my opinion. I have to mix together shades 310 Sun Beige and 330 Toffee, and as you'll see above there's quite a jump in the colours. I normally wear about 315/320 in Maybelline foundations.
Maybelline Dream Urban Cover Foundation Shade Match
I always find it so hard to match myself when picking out foundations, especially drugstore as there can be no testers. Hopefully the swatch comparisons above are helpful if you are around my shade!

Fenty Glossy Posse Mini Gloss Bomb Set Swatches - Fenty Holiday 2019

Monday, 4 November 2019
Fenty Glossy Posse Mini Gloss Bomb Set
The Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer in Fenty Glow is one of my favorite products that Fenty makes, I think a lot of people can agree with me too! It's a super comfortable formula, looks great and is just so easy to wear. They've since come out with two more permanent shades which I didn't catch my eye as much but the Fenty Glossy Posse Mini Gloss Bomb Set did! Fenty Holiday 2019 is really full of great products, minis of some permanents along with a few new what I believe to be limited edition. See the Fenty Gloss Posse lip swatches on my Instagram!

Fenty Holiday 2019 - Mini Gloss Bomb Set
Overall, I think Fenty Beauty Holiday 2019 looks really well done. Holiday products can look tacky, have lesser quality or can just be SO bulky - I appreciate that everything still has the sleek Fenty look and feel. The Fenty Glossy Posse Mini Gloss Bomb Set retails on Sephora for $42USD/$56CAD. It comes in a cute tin conntainner that you could totally reuse, I always have the intention to but don't always. One way to use it is as an in-drawer organizer for makeup.
Fenty Gloss Bomb Set
The Fenty Holiday Gloss Set contains 5 minis of their Universal Lip Luminizer formula. They are minis but still a great size, the holiday glosses contain 5.5mL while the full size is 9mL so you're really getting quite a bit of product! The packaging is also the same as the original, same doe for applicator too - I'm glad they kept it the same because the packaging is gorgeous.
Fenty Glossy Posse Mini Gloss Bomb Set Swatches Top to Bottom: Cheeky, Hot Chocolit, Confetti, Fu$$y and Pretty Please
I was unsure about the formula for these as they just looked super sparkly which is generally not my preference for gloss, I hate the gritty feeling and anything that looks too glittery is just a little juvenile for me. I  however was pleasantly surprised, I can see myself actually wearing 4 of 5 shades. Actually, side note, if you don't want all the shades split them up and gift to friends or family. Back to the formula, they weren't gritty or too glittery and they had just enough pigmentation, creates a nice hue of colour on the lips and make great lipstick toppers. Fu$$y is the only shade that already exists in the line and I'm glad I tried it as I didn't think I'd like it when it first launched.
Fenty Holiday 2019 Glosses Top to Bottom: Cheeky, Hot Chocolit, Confetti, Fu$$y and Pretty Please
Pretty Please - shimmering fuchsia
Fu$$Y - shimmering pink
Confetti - shimmering iridescent opal
Hot Chocolit - shimmering rich brown
Cheeky - shimmering bright red-orange

I  recommend this set if you like the original glosses and these shades were calling your name. Great formula, nice shades and no holiday gimmicks!
