SheaMoisture has officially launched in Walmart Canada stores and Walmart.ca ... yay! I’m a huge fan of the brand and have been for years, I actually would always buy it while in the US and bring it back to Canada. Those days are no more! I was so excited when the brand reached out to sponsor this post and asked me to chat about some of my favourite products from the SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus line.

SheaMoisture promises “safe and uncompromising beauty”, it’s formulated without parabens, mineral oil, DEA and phthalates just to name a few. The lack of harmful ingredients is such a bonus considering the products truly perform. The key ingredients in the Coconut & Hibiscus line are coconut oil, neem oil and silk protein. The price point is amazing too. If you have curly hair like myself, you can run through things like conditioner or curl definer pretty quick, and to have something so easily accessible and affordable to stock up on is a great!

SheaMoisture hits all the marks for me, great ingredients, affordable, available both instore and online at Walmart and everything smells so good. Let’s be honest, you can’t say the smell of a hair product hasn’t swayed you in the past.

SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl and Shine Shampoo - For me and my curls, when it comes to shampoo I want something that’s going to leave my hair feeling clean but at the same time I don’t want my hair to feel stripped. This shampoo is formulated without sulfates which is great for curls and is formulated to moisturize and improve elasticity to reduce breakage and split ends.

SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl and Shine Conditioner - This conditioner does a great job adding hydration but it also allows me to detangle. It’s light enough that I can use it often, but if I need an added boost for getting the knots out of my hair it adds enough slip to get the job done. It also helps to tame frizz and help define my curls.

SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl and Style Milk - When it comes to leave-in’s for me I can find them to be too light, especially if I’ve just shampooed my hair. That’s why I love this one so much, it has a great thick texture but it’s not heavy and doesn’t weigh down my hair. I’ve also used this on second day curls to refresh or to add smoothness for a bun!

SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie - I’m a huge fan of the Gel Souffle from this line so I was super curious to try the smoothie and I was pleasantly surprised. If you hate the look and feel of crunchy curls but don’t want to sacrifice curl definition this is for you my friend. I’m a wash-and-go, low maintenance curls kinda girl so I like that I can easily add this to wet curls and either leave to air-dry or diffuse (generally I do a combination of both) to get soft, bouncy curls!
