Covergirl Peach Punch Palette Too Faced Peach Palette Dupe! 

Covergirl has launched a new line of just about everything, foundation, concealer, face and eye palettes. See the entire collection in my Covergirl 2018 Launch Video. Today we are chatting about one palette specifically the Covergirl Peach Punch Palette. 

Covergirl TruNaked Peach Punch Palette 

I've always been a fan of the Covergirl TruNaked Eyeshadow Palettes, I thought they were incredible quality. Drugstore eyeshadow palettes can be pretty lame in my opinion but these are great. Same can be said for the latest launch of these palettes that they released. Actually, they are even better because there are more warm and matte shades! 

Covergirl Peach Punch Swatches 

The Covergirl Peach Punch Palette looked like it was a dupe or at least an attempted dupe for the Too Faced Peach Palette. This palette is also lightly peach scented, nothing that sticks around too much. 

Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette Dupe - Covergirl Tru Naked Peach Punch 

In my opinion, the Covergirl Peach Punch Eyeshadow Palette is a close dupe for the Too Faced Peach Palette. Glaring difference is that the Covergirl has less shades so you are missing shades, the green which would make the palette even more versatile. That being said I don't really miss the green. I think if you were intrigued by the Too Faced Peach Palette but never pulled the trigger and wanted similar shades this could be great. Sometimes larger palettes can be overwhelming so this gives you less shades to work with.

L'Oreal recently launched the Paradise Enchanted collection, inspired by Nectarines. Yum! I have a full review with demos and swatches on my YouTube channel if you'd like to see it in action.  This collection also includes a new lash primer which is fantastic, I love both L'Oreal's primers!

New Rimmel Makeup 2018!

Wear all Rimmel, Magnif'eyes Spice Palette, Breathable Foundation, Kate Palettes, Stay Matte Lip! 

Rimmel has released a ton of new (great) products. Always love to see great launches at the drugstore. Makes it more accessible and affordable for us all. I thought I'd swatch a few of the products today so you can see what you may want to pick up. In all honesty I did not like the initial Rimmel Kate Sculpting Palettes, but I recommend these!

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Underpainting Color Correction Palette

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Underpainting Palette 

 Make Up For Ever more or less always impresses me, they can do no wrong! Recently they released they Make Up For Ever Underpainting Color Correcting Palette. It claims to have "shade ranges for a perfectly even, primer complexion with long-lasting wear." If you like the HD Stick from MUFE this is the same formula. 

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Underpainting 40 Tan 

The Make Up For Ever Underpainting Color Correction Palette comes in 6 shades, which doesn't sound like much but the range truly goes from very fair to very deep. It retails for $53 CAD at Sephora. Each palette has 4 shades, some to colour correct and some to conceal. That packaging is nice and sleek as well, wether you are buying it for personal use or sticking it in your kit as an MUA. 

Make Up For Ever Underpainting Color Correcting Palette

I use 40 Tan in which the dark peach counteracts dark circles with blue undertones, yellow ochre events to correct redness and then the conceal shades do just that. I find it to be a really good match for my skin-tone.

The texture on the Make Up For Ever Color Correcting Palette is really nice too. It's not too dry or too creamy, I might not use it under my eyes but it's great for the face. I use light layers and build where I need it, and have had no problems with blending or lasting powder. Highly recommend this palette, like I said MUFE makes incredible, high quality products.
